The Proxima 8300 Multimedia LCD Projector provides computer data image quality unequaled in previously available LCD projectors. Its three analog LCD panels and dichoric color filters project brilliant, high-fidelity computer and video images in up to 16.7 million true colors. The unit's true 640 x 480 resolution, remarkable color saturation exceptional brightness, and rapid response time make it a logical choice for important boardroom, training, and multimedia presentations that demand premier image quality. With it slim-line design and ability to be set up with no convergence or alignment, the Proxima 8300 can easily be move from one location to another. Adding to its versatility is a motorized 2-to-1 zoom lens that lets you place the projector nearly anywhere in the conference room. Simply adjust the zoom lens, even by remote control, to fit any screen size up to 25 feet diagonal. The Proxima 8300 comes equipped with stereo audio input and output jacks and is the only LCD projector that is compatible with the Proxima Cyclops interactive pointer system. Cyclops allows presenter to operate software and control their presentations directly from the projected image.

PROXIMA 8300 OVERVIEW

The Proxima 8300 multimedia LCD projector is a data and video projector. It can project up to 16.7 million bright and vivid colors with smooth gradient shading and 640 x 480 pixel resolution. Analog drivers on three LCD panels, combined with dichoric filters and a 24-bit frame buffer allow the projector to deliver brilliant saturated color with no artifacts. The 2:1 zoom lens enables the unit to be positioned from 7.5 to 44 feet (2.3 - 13.4 m) away from the screen while giving you a diagonal image size that can be adjusted from 25 to 300 inches (635 to 7620 mm). The Proxima 8300 is directly compatible with a wide variety of personal computers (including IBM and Apple Macintosh), as well as all three international video standards (NTSC/PAL/SECAM). It incorporates multiple connectors (RCA, Computer, BNC, SCART, Serial)and channels (AV1, AV2 , Computer) for easy configuration and versatile connectivity. Its audio system includes stereo input/output, internal monitor speaker with 3 Watt amplifier, and separate inputs for computer and A/V audio sound with "audio following video" switching.
